APRIL 26 DAY 17 AMSTERDAM FREE DAY FAREWELL DINNER

Our final Day before leaving Amsterdam was a "do your own thing" before meeting for our farewell dinner
Merel, Helen and I decided to catch the tram and visit the Albert Cuyp Market. The market situated  conveniently on Albert Cuypstraat ran for several blocks with market traders selling all kinds of goods. With the Kings Day celebration approaching many stalls were festooned with orange clothing etc

We bump into other avid shoppers

Helen is happy with her orange carryon

Patricia purchases a new case on the last day after dragging her broken one around for the entire holiday!

Merel, Helen & I after having refreshments at a nearby cafe decide to try taking a boat tour around the canals. We were in luck and boarded the next sailing

Merel had booked our farewell dinner aptly at a traditional Dutch Restaurant, "De Blauwe Hollander". We assembled in the hotel lobby to walk to the restaurant for our 6 pm reservation

Satiated Diners

After dinner Merel takes the group on a digestive walk passing her Sister's house on the way. Unfortunately she was invited to the dinner but unable to attend
